Custom double glazed windows

All windows are rated on their energy efficiency using the window energy rating (WER) scheme. These values are displayed using a `rainbow scale`
All our Veka Halo profile doors and windows in either the System 10 (chamfered) or Rustique (sculptured) styles are `A` rated as standard. These can also be upgraded to an `A+` rating.
At Advance Glass we only use the finest components, which is why our glazed frames (either doors or windows) are glazed with Pilkington EnergiKare double glazed sealed units.
A rated doors and windows
Our standard double glazed sealed units (glass) incorporate Pilkington K Glass (hard coat) on the inside and Pilkington Optiwhite on the outside, Pilkington K Glass (hard coat) reflects heat back into the room whilst letting in heat from the sun, a process known as passive solar gain. Pilkington Optiwhite possesses ‘extra clear’ properties, allowing more sunlight and heat to enter a room through the window or door. This process allows us to achieve an ‘A’ energy rating.
A+ rated doors and windows
If you would like to upgrade to an A+ Energy Rating we will use a double glazed sealed unit (glass) incorporating Pilkington KS Glass (soft coat) on the inside and Pilkington Optiwhite on the outside. Pilkington KS Glass (soft coat) reflects heat back into the room whilst letting in heat from the sun, a process known as passive solar gain. Pilkington Optiwhite possesses ‘extra clear’ properties, allowing more sunlight and heat to enter a room through the window or door. Meaning this will give you a greater energy rating and thermal efficiency allowing us to achieve an ‘A+’ rating.
Our Pilkington EnergiKare sealed units are manufactured in accordance with BSEN1279 and safety glass complies with BSEN14449, BSEN12150 and BSEN12543.
